Audio Book Succubus 3 (The Good The Bad And The Crazy Stupid Hot): A LitRPG Series with FREE MOBI EDITION!

This is the third volume of AJ Markam's remarkable Succubus series, and my favorite and perhaps the best-written so far. I've only read the first three, so the order of my personal favorites (which is, of course, completely subjective) is:1) Succubus 32) Succubus 13) Succubus 2At the very start of this volume, our main character Ian's issues with his succubus Alaria's promiscuity comes to a head. Although they've come to an arrangement that she only has sex with women, every time he returns to their bedroom, he finds her with another female. Not capable of coping with the situation, he does one of the most stupid and perhaps most horrifying things to Alaria that anyone could do to someone else.*** SPOILER ***As a consequence, Alaria, completely devastated, hurt, and enraged, dumps him. Not able to face his own guilt or deal with his heartbreak, he winds up on a drunken binge for a week in an unfamiliar city, and is only able to get back on his feet when he has to save an angel (yes, literally!) from being assaulted by a gang of demons. Now he's faced with having to take responsibility for his new charge while attempting to pay off an almost insurmountable debt to a loan shark, who threatens to torture and kill him if he misses any of his weekly payments.*** SPOILER ***Although filled once again with much graphic violence (hey, it's set inside an MMORPG, so what do you expect?) and explicit, steamy sex scenes, this volume also touches upon several relevant topics, the most important of which are acceptance of others for who they are and enslavement to one's own ideals. If you want to find out how Ian faces these new challenges and whether or not he sees Alaria again, you'll have to read the book. And since the development and reactions of his characters are spot-on (and sometimes even touching) and his world-building absolutely astonishing, I can only recommend it most highly!
